Abstract:

Omeprazole, Tinidazole and Clarithromycin present in Heli-Cure Tablets, Three methods was developed for the simultaneous determination of Omeprazole, Tinidazole and Clarithromycin without previous separation. In the first method (HPLC), was used to separate the three drugs. In the second method, all drugs were determined using first derivative UV spectrophotometry, with zero crossing measurement. The third method involved the use of multivariate spectrophotometric calibration for the simultaneous determination of the analyzed tertiary mixture where the resolution was accomplished by using classical least squares (CLS) regression analysis. All the proposed methods were validated and applied to the analysis of pharmaceutical formulations. The results obtained were statistically analyzed and proved to be precise and accurate.
